Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. Provider

Caterdock is provided by Food by Jules Comm. V, Invalidenstraat 52, 9041 Ghent (Oostakker), Belgium — company number (KBO) / VAT BE 0738.963.816. Contact: jules@sircatering.be. By creating an account or using Caterdock, you agree to these terms.

2. The service — early access

Caterdock is a software-as-a-service platform for catering businesses: sales, kitchen and logistics in one app. Caterdock is currently in early access (beta). That means:

  • Features may change, be added or be removed as the product evolves
  • We aim for high availability but do not offer a formal uptime guarantee (SLA) during early access
  • Access may be invitation-based and we may reasonably limit usage to keep the service stable

3. Accounts

  • Caterdock is a business tool, intended for professional use in hospitality and catering
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account
  • Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content
  • Attempt to breach, probe or circumvent security measures, or access other tenants’ data
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, resell or sublicense the service without written permission
  • Send spam or abusive volumes of requests, or interfere with normal operation of the service

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where reasonably possible.

5. Your data

Your organization retains full ownership of all data it enters into Caterdock — recipes, events, clients, suppliers, documents and everything else. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host and process that data in order to provide the service. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, including our role as processor for your workspace data.

6. AI features

AI features (menu suggestions, document scanning, the AI assistant) support your professional judgement — they do not replace it. Always verify allergens, food safety and pricing yourself. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of AI output.

7. Fees and payment

  • During early access, use may be free of charge or individually agreed
  • Once paid subscriptions launch, they are billed monthly or annually via Stripe
  • Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance and apply from the next billing period
  • On non-payment, access may be suspended after a 14-day reminder period

8. Termination and data export

  • You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period
  • You can export your data at any time — via built-in exports or by requesting a copy at jules@sircatering.be
  • After termination, your data is deleted within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy

9. Liability

During early access the service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by Belgian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control). Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100 if no fees were paid. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or intentional fault.

10. Intellectual property

The Caterdock software, brand, design and documentation remain the property of Food by Jules Comm. V. These terms grant no rights to them other than normal use of the service.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent, Belgium.
